Back Health and Injury Prevention Workshops
This workshop will provide a basic understanding of healthy spinal movement and stability through explaining, examining and practicing a series of specific Pilates exercises. Participants will learn how to modify these exercises for their individual needs and also how to transfer this knowledge to daily activities at home, work and play. The workshop is meant to provide practical details and information that can be applied to group classes, home practice and daily movement.
Melina Stinson injured her back while dancing professionally. She brings a clear theoretical understanding of back injury and her own personal experience in rehabilitating her own back to these series of practical workshops. You will leave each class with a specific sequence of exercices to do at home and with understanding that will embark you on the road to recovery.
